CodeFicar is a Brazil-based non-profit organization that exposes technology and arts to
underserved communities, promoting a recreation of the educational system, where mental health
is at the core of the education path to overcome traumas that could generate barriers along the way. Our goal is to inspire change in underserved communities by connecting effective education, inclusive technology, and mental health care in the pillar of developing innovative leaders.

Our organization model is developed from the understanding that there is a need to promote young
people from outlying cities the right to choose a different path from poverty, crime, and
manufacturing work. The main "why" is to present these communities considered invisible with
the chance to reinvent the future, learn about technologies, and appreciate the local art culture.

 

The organization's focus is strategically building an educational structure that unfolds Engineering
& Robotics and Arts to the community as it assesses those students' emotional strain creating a
safe space through Mental Health support.
